Kelly is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Middleborough, MA to maintain and repair a fleet of diesel and non-diesel vehicles, ensuring safe, efficient operation. This hands-on role suits troubleshooters who work independently and keep equipment in top condition.

The position offers an afternoon shift (12 noon–8:30 pm), overtime opportunities, and options for full or part-time work with comprehensive benefits. Probationary period may apply.

Qualifications

• 2 years of diesel engine repair experience.
• 3 years of overall mechanical experience.
• Experience with computer diagnostics (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including small engine repairs.
• Troubleshoot using computer diagnostics tools.
• Coordinate outsourced repairs with external vendors when needed.
• Maintain accurate repair records, work orders, and purchase orders.
• Ensure all vehicles meet inspection and registration requirements.
• Travel to job sites as needed to perform repairs.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and team members regarding equipment status.
