Aircraft-Service-International-Group- at Tampa International Airport is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic and mechanical systems, and refueling equipment. You will perform routine QC checks and maintain maintenance records.

Candidates must have 3–5 years mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background and drug screening. English proficiency and ability to lift 70 lbs are required; weekend/holiday shifts may be

Competenze

Location: Tampa International Airport, TPA

Pay: $19.00/hour - $24.00/hour

Main accountabilities include:

• Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment.
• Maintain records relating to maintenance.
• Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
• Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Assuring a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties and tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 5 years mechanical experience
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and obtain Custom seal.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.
• Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
