Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation and maintenance principles.
• Knowledge of vehicle and equipment diagnostics and repair principles.
• Skills in welding and fabricating parts as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots vehicle and equipment operations problems; diagnoses and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Adjusts, repairs or replaces parts and equipment.
• Attends safety meetings and classes.
• Maintains tools and equipment; keeps a clean, safe shop.
• Welds and fabricates parts as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
