Reyes Fleet Management

is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our Martin Brower shop in Manassas, VA.

Shift:

Full-Time, Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:30am

Pay:

$23.00-29.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• The Fleet Technician focuses on preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed.
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect brake systems to ensure machines are in proper operating condition and verify that equipment has required licensing and registration.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance like changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate company vehicles.
• Own tools (minimum tool requirement).

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification.
