Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to focus on the PM services of tractors, trailers, liftgates, and reefer units at our Martin Brower shop in Enfield, CT.
Shift: Full-Time, Sunday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Friday from 2:00pm-12:30am OR Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-12:30am
Pay: $28.00-$31.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:
- Focus on preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of failures to perform repairs as needed.
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Inspect brake systems to ensure proper operation and ensure equipment has required licensing and registration.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers to perform routine maintenance like changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.
- Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
- Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles.
- Own tools (meet minimum tool requirements).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical School Certification.
