Job summary
Werdco BC is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Las Vegas, NV. You will maintain and repair a fleet of tractor-trailers and heavy equipment, focusing on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation.
Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with diesel engines, repairing brake and suspension systems, and documenting work orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.
- Own tools required to begin employment.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical work and night shift if needed.
- CDL Class A preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems.
- Repair hydraulic, electrical, suspension, brake, and air systems.
- Use diagnostic software to identify issues.
- Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
