Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team. You will maintain and repair diesel engines and equipment, and keep detailed records of all work performed.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational diesel training and ASE preferred. Nights/weekends availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; vocational diesel tech training preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Extensive diesel repair and maintenance experience.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel-powered equipment.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work conducted.
• Stay updated with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
