Qualifications

Diesel/Vehicle repair experience required.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines; mixed fleet knowledge.
Experience with electrical, brake, suspension, transmission, cooling & HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses vehicle issues by performing inspections, tests, and identifying worn or damaged parts.
Performs maintenance and repairs including preventive service, part replacements, system overhauls, adjustments, alignments, and upgrades across all major vehicle systems.
Ensures compliance and performance through test drives, system checks, and adherence to safety, engine, and emissions standards.
Maintains documentation and equipment by recording repairs, managing inventory, troubleshooting shop equipment, and coordinating necessary repairs.
Supports department goals by controlling costs, staying current through training and publications, and adding value to operations.
