Job summary

gpac is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trucks and equipment on-site in Clermont, GA. You will rebuild and replace engines, transmissions, drive lines, and hydraulic systems as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel experience, relevant certifications, and a strong ability to read schematics and communicate with Drivers. CDL is preferred but not required; on-site work environment with safety-first practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Diesel Mechanic/Technician experience.
• Degree or Certification as Diesel Mechanic/Technician or related fields.
• Experience with Cummins, Duramax, International engines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment.
• Work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Repair or replace faulty engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components as needed.
• Communicate with drivers about troubleshooting and maintenance needs.
• Maintain shop safety and cleanliness in accordance with procedures.
