  • Managing day-to-day activities such as scheduling, prioritizing work, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Performing demand work such as brakes, u-joints/bearings, steering/suspension, starting/charging, emissions/drivability diagnosis, and light engine repairs like water pumps, injectors, and fuel pumps.

This is an experienced position. Here are our minimum requirements:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You may be required to work on weekends, holidays, and off-shift.
  • You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
  • You are able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
  • You are willing to work on/under trucks for entire shifts (8 to 12 hours).

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 5 years of technical experience with Class 8 tractors and trailers.
  • Air Brake Systems Certification.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot with diagnostic systems.

Our ideal candidates exhibit characteristics such as:

  • Safety focus, ensuring correct procedures without shortcuts.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail for preventative maintenance.
  • Initiative to work independently until the job is done.
  • Leadership skills for managing situations and guiding coworkers.
  • Tech-savviness for diagnosing problems and installing electronic devices.
  • Strong teamwork skills for interacting with drivers, vendors, and team members.
