Job summary

Premier Fence, LLC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our new Middleborough location. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting company equipment and vehicles to keep operations running smoothly.

We welcome full-time or part-time applicants who can perform maintenance, coordinate outsourced repairs, complete paperwork, and work at various job sites, including nights and weekends when needed. CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Solid knowledge of diesel mechanics and hydraulics.
• Good communication with drivers.
• Recent graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of electrical/air brakes systems a plus.
• Knowledge of Level 1 DOT truck inspections a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs outsourced to truck repair shops.
• Complete repair paperwork and purchase orders.
• Check vehicle registrations and inspections are up to date.
• May work at various job sites.
• Occasional overtime nights/weekends.

Premier Fence is looking for a full-time or Part-time experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our high performing team in our next phase of growth in our new Middleborough location. Premier Fence services the Retail, Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Municipal markets with a team of dedicated industry professionals.

The basic function of the Diesel Mechanic at Premier Fence, LLC is to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot reported issues with company equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform the necessary preventive maintenance to Diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment including small engine repair and maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs that are outsourced to truck repair shops.
• Complete all necessary repair paperwork and purchase orders.
• Check all vehicle registrations and inspections to make sure they are up to date.
• May be required to perform work at various job sites.
• Able to work O.T. during nights and weekends when necessary.

Qualifications

• Needs to have a valid Driver's License, CDL a plus.
• A solid working knowledge of Diesel mechanics and Hydraulics preferred.
• Needs to have good communications skills to be able to communicate with drivers.
• Recent graduates from schools, programs, and senior mechanics.
• Knowledge of electrical/air brakes systems a plus.
• Knowledge of level 1 DOT trucks inspections a plus.
