Job summary

Premier Fence, LLC is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Middleborough, MA. We offer full-time or part-time roles with shift options: 12pm–9pm or 5pm–9pm, and weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordinating external repairs, and ensuring accurate paperwork. CDL is a plus, with knowledge of hydraulics and DOT inspections advantageous.

Premier Fence is looking for a full-time or Part-time experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our high performing team in our next phase of growth in our new Middleborough location. Premier Fence services the Retail, Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Municipal markets with a team of dedicated industry professionals.

The basic function of the Diesel Mechanic at Premier Fence, LLC is to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot reported issues with company equipment and vehicles. This position works mid-shift, full-time 12pm - 9pm and part-time 5pm - 9pm. Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the necessary preventive maintenance to Diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment including small engine repair and maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs that are outsourced to truck repair shops.
• Complete all necessary repair paperwork and purchase orders.
• Check all vehicle registrations and inspections to make sure they are up to date.
• May be required to perform work at various job sites.
• Able to work O.T. during nights and weekends when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Needs to have a valid Driver's License, CDL a plus.
• A solid working knowledge of Diesel mechanics and Hydraulics preferred.
• Needs to have good communications skills to be able to communicate with drivers.
• Recent graduates from schools, programs, and senior mechanics.
• Knowledge of electrical/air brakes systems a plus.
• Knowledge of level 1 DOT trucks inspections a plus.
