Job summary

gpac is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team on-site in Buford, GA. The role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and equipment, including engines, transmissions, driveline, and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of Diesel Mechanic/Technician experience and relevant certification or degree. CDL is preferred but not required; strong communication and teamwork are essential to success in this hands-on, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Diesel Mechanic/Technician experience.
• Degree or Certification as Diesel Mechanic/Technician or related field.
• Experience with Cummins, Duramax, International, and related vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to trucks and equipment.
• Work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Repair or replace faulty and damaged equipment, engines, transmissions, and other machine components in a timely manner.
• Communicate with drivers and operators regarding troubleshooting and maintenance needs.
• Maintain shop procedures, safety, and clean working environment in compliance with standards.
• Adhere to OSHA and DOT regulations and policies.
