Job summary

All Fleet Inc is expanding our service grid west of Chicago, and we’re hiring a mobile diesel technician to cover Elgin and the northwest suburbs. This corridor is packed with warehouse traffic, last-mile delivery, and regional fleet operators — making it a high-opportunity zone for mobile repairs.

Diagnose and repair semi-trucks and trailers, perform field repairs across the metro, and keep detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with truck/trailer repairs.
• Your own tools (not provided).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capable of passing a drug test, DOT physical, and MVR check.
• Customer-first attitude and professional demeanour.
• Flexibility for 24/7/365 support and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair semi-trucks, trailers, and more.
• Service brake systems, electrical, suspensions, lighting, tires, and diagnostics.
• Perform field repairs across the metro, including downtown and industrial areas.
• Maintain detailed records of parts and services.
