Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge of diesel trucks and systems.
• Ability to read manuals and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
• Perform repairs on diesel commercial vehicles including tractors, tankers, and Hot Oil trucks.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet specifications.
• Repair, relined, replaced, and adjusted brakes.
• Replace tires.
• Perform DOT inspections on commercial vehicles.
• Review work orders and discuss with supervisors.
• Discuss with drivers to understand problems and future repair needs.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
