Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech I - CES) to perform maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment in a safe, professional manner. You will help customers understand equipment usage and can advance toward higher level Tech roles in our Service Department.

You will also report machine conditions, demonstrate equipment, and assist with loading and unloading, while delivering exceptional service to customers daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of position tools.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
