Mechanics Hub in Washougal, WA is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair Class 8 trucks and hydraulic equipment. Guaranteed 40+ hours per week with overtime opportunities; full benefits after 90 days. Night shift Tue–Fri starting at 6:00 PM across Washougal and Salem locations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Class 8 diesel and chassis repair experience, welding proficiency, and strong hydraulic system expertise, with readiness to work indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Class 8 diesel engines.
• Proficiency in welding for truck repair applications.
• Experience with diesel engine and chassis repair.
• Proficiency in hydraulic systems and hydraulic equipment repair.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors at both service locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Class 8 trucks and specialized hydraulic construction equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 diesel engines and chassis components.
• Diagnose and repair chassis-related mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and hydraulic equipment.
• Complete repair work indoors and outdoors across Washougal, WA and Salem, OR locations.
• Perform welding as needed for Class 8 truck repairs.
