United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is hiring a Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech I - CES) in Maryland. You will perform maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment safely, support customers, and pursue advancement within the Service Department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and the cleaning of equipment.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
