Job summary

Colony Tire Corporation / Atlantic Tire Distributors is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Edenton, NC to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and drivetrain components for our tractor-trailer fleet. You will help ensure fleet reliability, safety, and DOT compliance, contributing to efficient logistics operations.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical components of tractor-trailer trucks.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics preferred.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Job Summary:
