Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Mayville, WI is hiring a diesel mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain Company-owned heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. Starting pay ranges from $26 to $35 per hour, with higher pay based on experience, certifications, and skill level.

Shift is 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and 401K after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension, PTO, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet ready for daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company-owned heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep refuse trucks safe and reliable.
• Complete repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure fleet readiness.
