Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. (KAG) is seeking Diesel Mechanic Technicians to keep one of North America’s largest fleets safe and running. You’ll work on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across Class 5-8 vehicles and tank trailers.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of diesel, fleet, truck or heavy equipment preventive maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Must pass background check, MVR, drug screen, and physical.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.
