Republic Services, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, with emphasis on chassis, refuse bodies, brakes, engines, HVAC, and electrical systems.

You will diagnose multi-system issues and work with state-of-the-art fleet equipment to support drivers on their routes. The role requires 5–7 years of experience with heavy-duty trucks; ASE T1–T8 is a plus; LNG/CNG experience and CDL B are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus but not required.
• Class B or higher CDL is a plus but not required.
• Preferred CDL B

• Maintains advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs complex repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
