Job Details:

• PAY: $26.73+/HR BASED ON EXPERIENCE (OPPORTUNITY FOR ADDITIONAL PAY INCENTIVES FOR ASE, CUMMINS CERTIFICATIONS & CDL)
• SIGN ON BONUS: $5000
• SHIFT: 1PM-8:30PM M-TH & 12PM-6:30PM ON F

I. Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs preventive maintenance services and inspects, diagnoses, and repairs vehicles and equipment.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services.
• Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
• Uses vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes.
• Estimates time and material costs, requisitions parts.
• Completes work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
• Performs emergency breakdown service calls.
• Conducts safety checks.
• Documents work using fleet maintenance software.
• Assists senior mechanics.
• Reviews and completes Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment.

III. Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Two (2) years relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical required.
