The hours and location

• Monday – Friday, Day Shift
• Start at 5am
• Work at our Portage, IN hauling site in a repair/maintenance shop

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Estimate costs for repairs and parts
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks and complete paperwork
• Assist senior Mechanics and review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a safe and clean work area

Minimum qualifications

• 2 years relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Over 18 years old
• Legally eligible to work in the US
• Ability to perform physical tasks with or without accommodations
• Pass pre-employment drug and physical tests
