Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Diesel Mechanic for our Allentown, PA shop. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing our Class 8 trucks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a complete set of hand tools.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems.
• Diagnose and perform necessary repairs to the engine and electrical systems.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 3rd Shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Allentown, PA shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.

Diesel Mechanic Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy‑duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work independently with a “can‑do” attitude

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after‑treatment systems
• Inspect and replace general components as required
