Interstate Power Systems in Williston, North Dakota is seeking a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines and construction equipment, perform routine maintenance, and communicate with the service team to ensure top-quality work.

Experience with diesel construction equipment or heavy-duty trucks is required. MTU/Volvo engine familiarity is strongly preferred, and a CDL can add compensation. Join our safety-focused team today.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
Location: Williston North Dakota
Pay Range: $30.00-$50.00/ hour DOE

Interstate Power Systems is hiring Diesel Technicians of all experience levels for our Williston, ND location.

We are seeking experienced technicians with the ability to diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks. Candidates with Construction Equipment, MTU and Volvo engine experience are highly preferred.

What You’ll Work On

• Heavy-duty diesel construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks
• Engines and systems across Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, Deutz, Allison, Cummins, CAT, MTU, Volvo, Liebherr and more
• Diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine and equipment issues
• Perform maintenance on trucks and construction equipment
• Communicate clearly with foreman and service team
• Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Experience with diesel construction equipment and/or heavy-duty trucks required
