Job summary

Prairie Field Services is seeking a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, and to diagnose issues before they escalate. You will complete oil changes, lubrication, fluid checks, and filter replacements, and inspect brakes, tires, lights, suspension, and other vehicle components.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, identify issues early, and perform minor repairs as needed while keeping the shop clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures for Class A tractors and trailers.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
