Job summary

S&H Farm Supply is seeking an experienced Ag Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Rogersville, MO. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors and farm machinery, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and documenting work performed.

Ideal candidates have strong diesel engine knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to safety. This role may require some Saturdays and overtime, with pre-employment screening and a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on agricultural equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on agricultural equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed.

Ag Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Ag Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. The Ag Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of agricultural equipment, including tractors and other farm machinery.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on agricultural equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on agricultural equipment
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, technician, or other related fields
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
