Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Ag Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience on agricultural equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
  • Willing to learn and training available for right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered agricultural equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
  • Work with customers and service team to identify equipment needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Stay current on equipment technology, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Occasionally assist with field service and emergency repairs during harvest seasons.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered agricultural equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn *willing to train the right individual and will provide further education
