- Hourly Pay: $34.00 per hour
- Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
- Sign On Bonus: Ryder Pays You $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends OFF
- Hours: First Shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification, preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Four or more years relevant experience preferred
- Valid CDL Class A, preferred
- Other certifications as required by location
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform all T3 tasks
- Advanced vehicle maintenance skills
- Good interpersonal communication
- Basic computer skills
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Shift work/weekends/on-call availability
- Prefer ASE Certifications
- Operate shop computers and diagnostic equipment proficiently
- Minimum tool requirements
- Road test vehicles as necessary
- Ability to coach/mentor others
This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. You must:
- Obtain CDL within 6 months
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check

Responsibilities
- Complete OEM diagnostic courses
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including complex repairs
- Use maintenance documents and diagnostic tools
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
- Assist roadside breakdowns
- Interact with customers/drivers
- Mentor other technicians
- Support shop operations and compliance guidelines
