Job description

Experienced Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position that offers industry-leading pay and excellent benefits. If you have extensive experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel and gas-powered equipment and trucks, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair a variety of heavy diesel and gas-powered equipment and trucks.
  2. Work closely with Service Department Management and the Shop Team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
  3. Adhere to strict inventory procedures and maintain accurate records.
  4. Utilize diagnostic software and apply expertise in diesel engines, air brakes, and hydraulic systems.
  5. Ensure compliance with California Commercial DOT regulations.
  6. Follow all company safety policies, including random drug and alcohol testing.
  7. Pass a pre-employment physical and maintain a clean driving record.
  8. Be available for variable shifts, overtime, and Saturday rotations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  2. Class A License (or willingness to obtain).
  3. High school diploma or equivalent.
  4. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Qualifications (Plus, but Not Required):

  1. Experience with hydraulic systems.
  2. Forklift Certification.
  3. OSHA 10 Certification.

Compensation & Benefits:

  1. Competitive pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience).
