• Hourly Pay: $31.00 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
• Routine preventive maintenance
• Basic diagnostics and repairs, including AC and electrical systems
• Three or more years of relevant work experience preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• All required certifications by location

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs and diagnostics
• Computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. You must:

• Obtain a CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background and motor vehicle checks

Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, facility maintenance, customer interaction, and supporting operations. Must demonstrate ability to access and use maintenance documents and complete OEM diagnostic courses.
