Art’s Trucks & Equipment is currently accepting applications for an Experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic. Art’s Trucks & Equipment was founded in 1967 in McAllen, Texas. We are a family-owned and operated business.

For more than 58 years, we have specialized in vocational trucks with an emphasis on vehicles used for city and municipal work, including dump trucks, garbage trucks, digger trucks, and bucket trucks. We also specialize in water tanks, water trucks, and dump bodies including fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Individual must have extensive knowledge in trouble shooting and computer Diagnostics.
• Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance services
• Demonstrates time management, organization, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5 years’ experience in a dealership or related truck service facility
• Valid Driver’s license
• CDL driver’s license is a plus
• ASE certifications are preferred

Mon thru Fri 8-5 plus overtime as needed
