Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Technician Levels I-II in Texas. The role offers hourly pay from $25 to $32 with training-based increases and growth opportunities.

Onsite position with extensive paid training and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical/dental/vision, and holiday pay. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, Air Brake and EPA 609 certifications (or ability to obtain), and MV Inspector credentials or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance/repair.
• Preventative maintenance and repair of Class 5-8 commercial vehicles.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties in a fast-paced shop setting.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely service and safety standards.

Salary

• $25-32 per hour based on experience
• Guaranteed increases with completion of training programs and verified prior experience

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Air Brake Certification (FMSCR 396.25) or 1+ year of verifiable experience and the ability to obtain
• Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair (EPA 609) or the ability to obtain
• Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector 3 years experience or 1 year experience and ability to obtain
• Diesel Mechanics are required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
