Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $28.93 per hour
- Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 four times per year
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Vocational/technical certification or post-secondary degree (preferred)
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines, including:
- Routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, brake, tire work)
- Basic diagnostics and repairs (AC, electrical systems)
- Three or more years of relevant work experience (preferred)
- Valid CDL Class A (preferred)
- Other certifications as required by location
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience with heavy and medium-duty repairs and diagnostics
- Basic computer skills (PC, Windows)
This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. You must:
- Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including:
- Standard and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose complex mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic tools
- Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
- Replace defective components
- Work independently on most tasks
- Perform facility maintenance
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
- Utilize shop management and electronic documentation systems
- Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
- Mentor junior technicians
- Access and use maintenance documents
- Support operations as needed, including service island duties
- Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required
