Job summary

Titan Machinery is hiring a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel machinery per manufacturer specs. You will work with the service team to communicate findings and timelines, and participate in ongoing technical training to stay current on products and safety practices.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of diesel experience or an associate degree, own their tools, and can travel for training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• Ability to travel to offsite training facilities as needed.
• Must have own tools.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

• Diagnose, repair, and recondition diesel machinery following manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines clearly with Service Manager, team, and customers.
• Engage in ongoing training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities.

Overview

Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case IH Diesel Mechanic and leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional service for diesel machinery diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments
