Job summary

Firematic Supply Co. is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. You will work on autos, medium and heavy-duty trucks, including EMS and rescue units, with up-to-date maintenance practices.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a starting pay rate of $25–$35 per hour depending on experience and certifications. We offer extensive training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with positive can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of Diesel engines.
• CDL B with Air Brakes required or willingness to obtain within first year.
• Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles.

WHO WE ARE:

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Self-starter with positive can-do attitude
• Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred
• Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year
• Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred
• ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.

Starting rate $25-35/hr depending on experience and certifications
