RMT Companies Inc. is seeking a diesel mechanic who takes pride in their work and has at least 5 years of experience with diesel engines and trailer repairs to join our small, family-owned shop in Kentucky.

You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and facility equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle requirements. Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with diesel engines and trailer repairs.
• Brake repair and annual vehicle inspections experience desirable.
• Welding experience desirable.

About the Job:

We are looking for a diesel mechanic who takes pride in their work and appreciates the benefits of working for a growing, successful company. We are looking for a mechanic with a minimum of 5 years' experience with diesel engines and trailer repairs. In support of our truck and trailer fleet, our mechanics perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and overhaul trucks and trailers at our maintenance shop. Some facilities work may be required, which may include equipment maintenance and inspections and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

RMT Quality Repair is a smaller shop which means you won't be stuck doing just oil changes. All of our mechanics do every type of work in our shop. This is your opportunity to use all of your skills and maybe learn new ones, which will make you an even more valuable member of our team!

Pay: $35 - $45. Actual rate of pay depends upon experience.
