Job Summary

As a mechanic, your focus will be to ensure that all equipment and vehicles are ready and working as needed through proper completion of repairs and maintenance. You'll accomplish this by communicating and coordinating major repairs and maintenance with Managers, as well as listening to specialists and reading Vehicle Inspection Reports and prioritizing your work. You'll be responsible for ordering and receiving parts and supplies, as well as the proper completion of paperwork for the office and vendors. Whenever possible, you'll train field specialists on equipment maintenance and vehicle operations. You'll do it all while maintaining a safe and orderly work environment in the Shop and in the Yard.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of equipment and vehicles.

What a day is like:

• Ensure all equipment and vehicles are ready through repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate and coordinate repairs with Managers.
• Read Vehicle Inspection Reports and prioritize work.
• Order and receive parts and supplies.
• Complete paperwork for the office and vendors accurately.
• Train field specialists on equipment maintenance and vehicle operations when possible.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in the Shop and Yard.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Someone with a desire for stability, security, and quality work.
• Experience with small engine repair, two-stroke engine repair, and diesel engine maintenance.
• Experience operating aerial lift trucks, spray equipment, tanks, and pumps.
• Owns basic tools for engine repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read manuals and diagnostic charts for troubleshooting.
• Valid Driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Demands
