Job summary

A leading trenchless rehabilitation provider in Harmony Township is looking for a Mechanic to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility maintenance. Candidates must have strong mechanical skills, experience with industrial repairs, and a high school diploma. Job Summary

The Mechanic will complete all repairs, preventative maintenance, programmed repairs and facility repairs to be in compliance with equipment/ facility reliability and standards. Maintenance mechanic will report any foreseeable problems to the Shop Manager.

Responsibilities

• General mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics and electrical
• Basic welding knowledge and experience
• Good assembly skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Basic intermediate computer skills
• Experience with work order execution
• Has own basic tools
• Experience with safety training
• Facility repair experience.
• Keep up with training and process needs, requirements.
• Problem solve and root case diagnosis
• Communicates well and works in clean orderly manner
• Diagnose and manage employees projects
• Schedule repairs and maintenance of equipment
• Other duties as assigned
• Work afternoon shift and overtime when available.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred)

Additional Requirements/Skills

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial mechanical repairs.
• Heavy truck repair experience. Must have Preventative Maintenance system experience.
• Possess own basic hand tools. Must be able to work in closed and open environments.
• Class C drivers license
• Experience with boiler/steam truck maintenance (preferred)
• Experience with vac truck maintenance (preferred)
