Job summary

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack models, plus Hyundai and Linde lift trucks.

You will analyze problems, perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, and verify repairs while following safety rules and recording work orders. Two years of tractor/trailer/forklift experience is required, with one year of diesel engine repair preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required).
• At least one year of diesel engine repair experience preferred.
• At least one year of mechanical knowledge preferred.
• High School diploma or better required.
• Technical training or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems and interpret technical information to perform required repairs.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions and verify work performed.
• Follow safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures to ensure safety.
• Complete all assigned work orders on time and maintain detailed records with good communication across groups/departments.

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is looking for a Diesel Mechanic. Our Diesel Mechanics play an important role in ensuring that our equipment runs properly. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack trucks, as well as Hyundai and Linde lift trucks.

Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting equipment issues).

Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.

Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed.

Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures,

Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs and have good communication skills across all groups/departments.

Education and/or Experience Required:

Two (2) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required)

At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred

At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred
