Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician in Englewood, TN to join a growing fleet maintenance team. The role focuses on heavy- and medium-duty vehicle work, preventative maintenance, and complex diagnostics to keep equipment in peak condition.

Responsibilities include diagnosing engine faults, clutch and exhaust repairs, electrical troubleshooting, brake inspections, and basic engine work. CDL preferred; long hours and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with heavy- and medium-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Be able to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check.
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.
• Be able to work variable hours including weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Work with heavy- and medium-duty vehicles and equipment to keep them in top condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend service life.
• Diagnose issues through observation and testing.
• Diagnose engine fault codes and address necessary repairs.
• Perform clutch repairs or replacements as needed.
• Diagnose and repair exhaust systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to restore function.
• Complete brake inspections and address findings.
• Perform minor engine work as required.

Automotive and Diesel Truck Mechanics/Technicians are critical members of our team, keeping our essential equipment in top-working condition. • working with a variety of heavyand medium-duty vehicles and equipment

• performing preventative maintenance
