Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair diesel‑powered manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems and facility infrastructure.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel‑related issues.
• Replace, repair, or calibrate components to keep equipment at peak performance.
• Conduct general facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC support, minor plumbing, painting, and basic building repairs.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work and repairs.
• Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and layouts to guide maintenance tasks.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying potential equipment or facility upgrades.
• Follow all safety protocols and assist in training junior maintenance team members.
• Be available for Saturday work as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in diesel engines, hydraulics, and facility maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and facility systems.
• Ability to read technical documents, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiar with safety practices in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• Must complete and pass all ATMI Safety Training Programs (Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out, Working from Heights, Confined Space, Forklift Operation, Manlift Operation).
• Ability to complete crane inspections.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screening.

Preferred Skills

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Basic electrical or PLC troubleshooting knowledge.
• Certifications in diesel, hydraulic, HVAC, or facility maintenance.
