Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic in Ames, IA to provide diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for diesel machinery. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition systems and components per manufacturer specs while ensuring quality workmanship and timely service delivery.

Required are 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology; own tools; travel to offsite trainings as needed; and strong attention to detail plus excellent

Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case IH Diesel Mechanic and leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional service for diesel machinery diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments
