Job summary

Red Classic Transit, LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) to repair and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including trailers, with mentoring for less experienced techs. This full-time role offers pay of $28.50–$33.00 per hour, paid training, PTO and holidays, 401(k) with company matching, ESPP, and comprehensive health, dental, vision and life insurance.

Available shifts are 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• DOT Brake Inspection certification is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including trailers.
• Provide mentoring and assistance to less experienced technicians.
• Ensure safety and adherence to company standards and procedures.
