Iron Horse is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our railcar repair plant, equipment, and support systems operating safely and reliably. We value a diesel/heavy equipment/mechanical background and a strong troubleshooting mindset, with a willingness to learn our processes.

You do not need to know how to repair every piece of equipment; what matters is diagnosing problems, determining causes, and performing repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant mechanical repair experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment safe.
• Troubleshoot engines, motors, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
