TRP Construction Group is seeking an experienced mechanic to join the Bertram maintenance team. This is a primarily shop-based position maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, hydraulic systems, small engines, and specialized construction equipment.

An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail, with the ability to work with various machines and tools and follow safety precautions. Occasional field repairs may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum mechanical experience with vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostic procedures.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and with a two-mechanic maintenance team.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and drivetrain issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Repair small engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with occasional field breakdowns.
• Maintain basic maintenance and repair records.
• Work with operations to keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for use.
