Lindsay Precast Master is seeking a Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair company vehicles and equipment at our Franklinton, NC facility. You will inspect forklifts, concrete delivery vehicles, loaders, and trailers, performing scheduled maintenance and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (mechanic certification preferred), plus 5+ years in diesel engine work and heavy equipment, with a valid license.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanic certification preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities are essential.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain thorough maintenance records.
• Experience with diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, and braking systems is valued.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, rebuild, service, and repair company vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect, service, and repair forklifts, loaders, concrete delivery vehicles, skid steers, and related equipment.
• Perform trailer repairs, including tires, wiring, and air brake systems.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gasoline engines, including electronic and non-electronic systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair transmissions (manual, automatic, electronic).
• Inspect and repair suspension and braking systems, including hydraulic and ABS systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Communicate maintenance needs and repair status with teams; ensure OSHA safety standards are followed.
• Create and maintain accurate maintenance records and schedules.
