Job summary

Delaware Park Casino & Racing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure high standards of service and equipment reliability. You will inspect and repair diesel and gas engines, maintain heavy equipment, and coordinate with the manager on equipment needs and new setups.

The role requires independent work, adherence to safety rules, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with English communication and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with diesel engines, gas engines, and heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass background check and provide own tools.
• Proficient in operation of equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• English sufficient to perform duties.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform related physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures flawless delivery and execution of service excellence.
• Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical defects and failures in equipment.
• Maintain and repair of vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Communicate needs or problems to the Manager; set up and modify equipment as needed.
• Keep maintenance equipment oiled and inspected; follow OSHA regulations.
• Operate procedures within departments with professionalism and teamwork.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
