Job summary

Ziegler Inc. is offering an Intern Technician position in Minnesota where you'll learn by diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment, mentored by experienced senior technicians.

You'll develop real-world mechanical skills while supporting troubleshooting in a shop environment, with safety as a priority and opportunities for scholarship, mentorship and advancement within a renowned CAT dealer network.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades.
• Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
• Own mechanic tool set.
• This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
• Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop setting.
• Learn from senior technicians and participate in mentoring.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, timely manner to maximize value of work performed.
